A Brief History...
N&D Wholesale started out in Glenview, IL in 1992 as N&D Electronics Repair. We enjoyed a semi-prosperous business for about a year. When the advent of "throw-away" electronics came about, our business wasn't doing so well. At one point, N&D was going to fold business a year after it was established.
Then, we relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1994 and business picked back up, only to die down again in 1998. Again, faced with the prospect of closing the business in 2003, we were introduced to something called sub-wholesaling. From that point, we transformed the business from electronics repair to this new venture. Right away, N&D was and still is profiting from it. It was then we realized, that this was where we needed to be. Since then, N&D has all but given up on electronics repair in favor of bringing everyone gift merchandise at wholesale prices.
N&D Electronics Repair became N&D Collectibles in April 2005. We enjoyed a prosperous start. Omegatron, our former supplier had made us a partner company. At one time, we were going to rename our company Omegatron Hampton Roads.
Omegatron, Inc., was the company that introduced N&D to this line of merchandise. Now, due to Omegatron Inc. being liquidated on 9/15/05, and sold to a different company, once again we had to do something to keep this new business alive, and now we went from sub-wholesaling for Omegatron to becoming a self-sustaining company again. With that, we had to change our name again. Now, due to the fact we sell our products at wholesale, we changed it to N&D Wholesale. We can say now with all certainty that we are an importer, wholesaler, and distributor of fine specialty gift items!
